Choose between a white base for true-to-life colour reproduction or a clear brushed aluminium base to infuse your artwork with a contemporary metallic sheen.
White Base
To achieve a true-to-life photographic look, the aluminium is coated with a specialised white polymer layer. Because dye-sublimation doesnāt use white inkāmuch like a standard home printerāthe white areas in your image are represented by the white coating of the metal itself.
This white base enhances colour accuracy, contrast, and vibrancy, making it ideal for prints where faithful image reproduction is key.

Ultra Gloss (Indoor)

Semi Gloss (Indoor)

Brushed Aluminium Clear Base
With a transparent coating over raw aluminium and no white ink used in the printing process, the natural grain of the metal is visible in areas where your image has white or light tones. Colours take on a striking metallic sheen, adding depth and a contemporary edge to your artwork.
For example, when printing a black and white image, the result appears as black and silverāthanks to the reflective aluminium base.

Please Note: Natural Variations in the Surface
Our metal prints are created using high-quality aluminium sheets coated with a specialised liquid finish. As this coating cures, tiny air pockets may occasionally form, resulting in subtle surface variations such as small bumps or dimples.
While these are a natural part of the production process, we carefully inspect each sheet and position your image to minimise the visibility of any imperfections. These minor variations do not affect the overall quality or longevity of your print and are not considered grounds for remakes.
