Winners at SGIAA Print Awards

The Print 2 Metal Team took out the “Presidents Award” at the SGIAA 2013 Awards in Sydney on the weekend.  It was the main award on the night, being judged the most outstanding print from all categories.

Thank you to Ghislaine Arteon for allowing us to create a unique piece of work from her amazing “Dinosaur Footprints” image and win this prestigious award. Ghislaine photographs in the Kimberley region in some of the most remote places of beautiful wilderness. Artissimo Fine Art Gallery in Broome features a collection of her works.

In the Digital category Print 2 Metal won Gold with well known commercial photographer Louis Petruccelli’s much admired “Escalator” photo.

Louis has generously supported Print 2 Metal since the beginning with his amazing images for us to use at trade shows, as samples and on our website.

Thanks also to Vanilla Images a boutique wedding studio in Melbourne for their creative collage design which captured the judges attention to win bronze.

The effort by the Print 2 Metal team to take outstanding images, think outside the box and use metal fabricating skills and creative design was heaps of fun and ultimately what set them apart.
